Tiffin Fielded its first professional baseball team in the spring of 1935,
just one year after League Park was completed.

Playing on this first pro team were:
FRONT ROW: (left to right) Ed Bastin, Anthony Rogala, Dewey Stoverand Bob Huffman.
SECOND ROW: Ed Schwartz, Ed Jurkntait, Lefty Weis, Ed Yarsaw, and Bob Griffith.
BACK ROW: Manager R.U. Huffman, Harvey Kerschner, Sr., Zeke Clements, Sterling Cartwright and business manager Chas. LeCrone.
Cartwright pitched a no-hitter against mansfield that season, but he lost the game by a 1-0 score when Stover misjudged a pop fly to the outfield and a runner scored from third base.
