Treasurer Neva Wilbert reported a balance of $3572.79 in the chapter's general fund.Membership renewals have been coming in. There are now 213 paid memberships, and five of these are new members. Reminder cards will be sent to those who have not paid their dues for 2007. President Jim Stultz read a letter that he sent to Wal-Mart thanking them for the $500.00 community grant which the chapter has received. The grant money will be used for the publication of books to help researchers find their Seneca County ancestors. Jerry and Beverly Wheatley were thanked for their efforts to obtain this grant. Beverly Wheatley reported on sales of our publications. She said that Nancy Hagenmaier continues to work on recording the naturalization records in the county court records. A listing of the naturalizations recorded in Seneca County is planned as the next chapter publication. Corresponding Secretary Dick Steinmetz read several communications, including a letter from the Hayes Presidential Center in Fremont regarding their planned restoration of the Rutherford B. Hayes home. They are seeking public donations to assist with the project. Our chapter does not donate to worthy causes which are not a direct benefit to genealogists, but members who wish to make a charitable contribution were encouraged to consider the project.SCGS will again be a member of the Federation of Genealo
